ABOUT JANE

Jane Hyde harpist Kansas

I play with the Wichita Symphony, the Salina Symphony, and teach harp all over central Kansas. It’s fun! One of my favorite things to do is play in the orchestra for things like the Nutcracker ballet. I also enjoy accompanying choirs. I arrange music, too, and write original compositions.

My activities in harp have taken me to San Juan, P.R., the DC Metro area and South Florida. After joining the Wichita Symphony Orchestra in 1985, I chose to stay close to my hometown, where teaching is my passion.
